  • 3 medium Yellow Onions sliced very thinly
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil or olive oil if preferred
For Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder optional
  • ½ teaspoon Seasoning Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper optional

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the Parmesan cheese evenly in a thin layer on the lined baking pan.
  3. Slice the yellow onions very thinly and arrange them over the Parmesan cheese in a single layer.
  4. Brush the onion slices generously with avocado oil.
  5. Sprinkle the onion rings with paprika, coarse sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and ground black pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, watching for golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool on the pan for about 10 minutes before breaking apart.
