For the Meatloaf
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Option to use ground turkey for a leaner version.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 Eggs Can be replaced with flaxseed meal mixed with water for vegan.
  • 1/2 cup Milk Unsweetened almond milk can be used as dairy-free substitute.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Crushed crackers or oats can be used instead.
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup Homemade ketchup can elevate the dish.
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce Substitute with soy sauce for gluten-free.
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar Coconut sugar is a healthier option.
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard Yellow mustard can be used in place.
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to a greased loaf pan or shape it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine brown sugar, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Spoon half of the glaze over the meatloaf and bake for 40 minutes.
  6. Add the remaining glaze over the meatloaf and return it to the oven for another 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
