Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or prepare your grill for indirect cooking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, carrots, and sweet onions. Drizzle with olive oil and add seasoning salt, mixing until well-coated.
  3. Season your choice of protein with salt and pepper, then shape into patties.
  4. Lay two pieces of foil in a cross pattern, place the veggie mixture, followed by the protein patty on top. Crimp the edges tightly to seal.
  5. Cook packets on a baking sheet or grill for about 30 to 45 minutes until meat reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  6. Carefully open the foil, add cheese and bacon, reseal, and return to heat for an additional 2 to 3 minutes to melt the cheese.
