Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by dicing the yellow onion and mincing the garlic cloves. Gather all ingredients to streamline the cooking process.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, dried onion, and Dijon mustard. Mix gently and form into 4 patties.
  3. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil and butter. Sear the patties for about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Lower the skillet heat and add diced onion and minced garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme, and sauté for about 3 minutes.
  5. Deglaze the pan with white wine, scraping up browned bits, and simmer for 2 minutes. Add in heavy cream, and bring gently to a boil before stirring in Parmesan and horseradish.
  6. Return the patties to the skillet and coat with sauce. Cover and simmer on low for about 5 minutes.
