- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
- Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Add 4 cups of chicken or seafood broth and 8 ounces of fettuccine or linguine. Boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
- Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Gently fold in 1 pound of shrimp and 6 ounces of crab meat. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
