Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  2. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and lightly golden.
  3. Add 4 cups of chicken or seafood broth and 8 ounces of fettuccine or linguine. Boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Gently fold in 1 pound of shrimp and 6 ounces of crab meat. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
