  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk no substitutes recommended
For the Frosting

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa.
  3. Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla; mix on medium speed until smooth.
  4. Stir in boiling water until well combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, cool for 10 minutes, and poke holes in the cake.
  7. Mix together condensed milk, coconut, and pecans, then pour over the cake.
  8. Cool completely and frost with chocolate frosting.
