Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all your ingredients and equipment.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, sautéed onion and bell pepper, breadcrumbs, eggs, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to your lined loaf pan, shaping it into a smooth loaf and pressing the top down slightly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the ketchup and brown sugar until smooth. Brush half of the glaze over the meatloaf's surface.
  5. Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour. Check internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  6. In the last 15 minutes of baking, brush the remaining glaze over the meatloaf.
  7. Once baked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
