  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce soy sauce can be a substitute
  • 1 cup Cheddar or Mozzarella Cheese mix for added complexity
  • 1 Crispy Bacon optional, swap for turkey bacon

For the Dough
  • 1 can Refrigerated Biscuit or Pizza Dough homemade dough is a substitute
For the Topping
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter olive oil as a dairy-free option
  • 1-2 cloves Minced Garlic or use garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese omit for a dairy-free option
  • to taste Chopped Fresh Parsley optional garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes until fully cooked. Drain fat, and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Roll out the biscuit or pizza dough and cut out 10 cm circles. Place a tablespoon or two of the beef filling in the center, and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
  3. Preheat oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the filled dough balls seam-side down. Brush melted butter mixed with minced garlic over the tops and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake for about 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Look for melted cheese inside and the aroma of garlic.
  5. Once baked, brush with remaining garlic butter and cool for a few minutes. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
