Preparation
- In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring frequently, and allow to boil for about 10 minutes until the syrup is clear and slightly thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a blender, add the ripe bananas and freshly squeezed orange juice. Blend on high for about 3 minutes until completely smooth and creamy.
- In a large, airtight container, pour in your cooled simple syrup followed by the banana-orange blend. Add the pineapple juice and lemon juice. Stir well until thoroughly mixed.
- Seal the container tightly and place it in the freezer for at least 12 hours.
- Once frozen, scoop about ½ cup of the slush into a glass. Top with lemon-lime soda and enjoy!
