Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled pretzel crust.
  3. Dissolve strawberry Jello in boiling water. Allow to cool to room temperature, then pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Cut into squares and serve chilled, garnished with fresh strawberry slices if desired.
