Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled pretzel crust.
- Dissolve strawberry Jello in boiling water. Allow to cool to room temperature, then pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled, garnished with fresh strawberry slices if desired.
