Ice Cream Making Process
- Whisk together 2 cups of half-and-half and 3/4 cup of granulated sugar until dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of mint extract; optionally add green food coloring. Stir for 1 minute.
- Pour the mixture into the electric ice cream maker and churn at a low setting for about 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, add 1/2 cup of finely chopped semisweet chocolate and 1/2 cup of milk chocolate. Churn for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container and press plastic wrap against the surface.
- Freeze for 4-6 hours until completely solid.
