- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Position the oven rack in the top third.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion; cook for 7-8 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Cook for another minute.
- Reduce heat to medium and mix in sour cream, condensed soup, and drained corn. Heat through for 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 casserole dish.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the filling, then arrange the tater tots on top.
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving, optionally garnished with scallions.
