  • 1 cup Heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half.
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Fresh garlic is a substitution.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Skip if using fresh onion.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Smoked paprika can be used.
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley Can substitute with chives or basil.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat the skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down and cook for 7-8 minutes until crispy. Flip and cook for another 10-12 minutes.
  3. Transfer chicken to a plate. In the same skillet, melt butter and add shallot and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute, then add chicken broth, lemon juice, thyme, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 5-6 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, warm through, and garnish with parsley before serving.
