Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Layer half of the cubed brioche or French bread in the bottom of the baking dish and scatter half of the blueberries on top.
  3. Add another layer with the remaining bread cubes and top with the rest of the blueberries.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the layered bread and blueberries, pressing down gently.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least one hour.
  7. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving, optionally dusting with powdered sugar.
