Ingredients
Scale
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the steak pieces with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the butter. Once melted, add the sliced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
Return the cooked steak to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce while cooking.
Substitute the steak with chicken breast or tofu for a different protein option.
