Delicious Trick-or-Treat Nacho Cheese Burger Bombs that are perfect for Halloween parties!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 8 oz refrigerated biscuit dough
  • ¾ cup nacho cheese sauce
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and onion. Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking up the beef, until browned and cooked through.
  3. Drain excess grease. Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook for another minute, then let cool slightly.
  4. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each biscuit into a round.
  5. Place about 1½ tbsp of beef mixture in the center of each dough round. Add about 1 tbsp nacho cheese sauce and a little shredded cheddar.
  6. Pull the dough edges up around the filling and pinch tightly to seal completely. Roll gently into a ball and place seam-side down.
  7. Brush each burger bomb with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
  9. Mix melted butter with garlic powder. Brush over the hot burger bombs immediately after baking.
  10. Serve warm with extra nacho cheese sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For a fun trick-or-treat presentation, arrange the golden burger bombs in a circle around a bowl of warm nacho cheese, like a giant edible dipping platter.
