Ingredients
Scale
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon minced ginger
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup peanut or sesame sauce for dipping (optional)
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off.
Add the chicken to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped cilantro.
Serve warm with peanut or sesame sauce for dipping, if desired.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños to the marinade.
Serve with a side of jasmine rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
