Texas Roadhouse-Style Pork Chops are juicy, flavorful, and perfect for a hearty meal. This recipe features perfectly seasoned pork chops seared to perfection and topped with a delicious garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless pork chops, about 170–225 g each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika, optional
  • For the butter sauce:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Season the pork: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Combine salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, thyme, and brown sugar. Rub the seasoning mixture generously over both sides of the pork chops.
  2. Heat the skillet: Heat olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear: Add the pork chops and cook for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until nicely browned and cooked through. For food safety, pork should reach 63°C internally, followed by a 3-minute rest.
  4. Add butter and garlic: Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the pork chops for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Make the sauce: Remove the pork chops and let them rest. Add another 2 tbsp butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic to the skillet. Stir for about 1 minute until glossy and fragrant.
  6. Finish: Return the pork chops briefly to the skillet and spoon the buttery sauce over them.
  7. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, or a fresh salad.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the pork chops for a few hours before cooking.
  • Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.
  • Serve with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
