Ingredients
Scale
1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
Once the oil is hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Remove from heat and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted and glossy.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
Serve over zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
