Ingredients
Scale
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sriracha, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly caramelized, turning halfway through for even cooking.
Once cooked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, try marinating the chicken overnight.
You can substitute chicken thighs with chicken breast for a leaner option.
Serve with steamed rice or lettuce wraps for a complete meal.
