Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon: Pat the salmon dry and cut it into small pieces. Add it to a food processor and pulse several times until finely chopped but not completely smooth.
  2. Transfer the salmon to a bowl. Add breadcrumbs, egg, sweet chili sauce, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, green onions, cilantro, paprika, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 16–18 small balls, about 1½ inches each.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon balls and cook for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. Make the sauce: Melt the butter in the same skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, and black pepper.
  7. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring until the sauce becomes creamy and slightly thickened.
  8. Return the salmon balls to the skillet and gently toss to coat them in the sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
