A delicious and easy-to-make Sheet Pan Pizza Meatloaf that combines the flavors of pizza with the comfort of meatloaf, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 900 g ground beef
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 120 ml milk
  • ½ small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 60 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 180 ml pizza or marinara sauce
  • 200 g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 80 g sliced pepperoni
  • 30 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: sliced mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, or onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared sheet pan. Shape it into a large rectangle about 2–3 cm thick.
  4. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove the pan from the oven. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the meatloaf. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan, then arrange the pepperoni on top. Add any extra pizza toppings you like.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 71°C.
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning or fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

  • For extra cheesy meatloaf, add a layer of mozzarella inside the meatloaf before shaping.
  • Substitute ground beef with a beef-and-pork mixture for a richer flavor.
  • Add bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, or jalapeños just like your favorite pizza.
  • Serve with a side salad, roasted vegetables, or garlic bread.
  • Don’t make the meatloaf too thick; keeping it around 2–3 cm thick helps it cook evenly.
