Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Make the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, sweet paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and parsley.
Marinate the chicken: Add the chicken and coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours for deeper flavor.
Preheat the grill: Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
Grill: Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for 5–7 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Rest: Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Serve with roasted potatoes, rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad.
Notes
For best results, marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours.
Adjust the level of red pepper flakes to taste for desired spiciness.
This recipe can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
