Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped Snickers bars (about 45 bars)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, whisking until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped Snickers bars and chocolate chips.
  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
  9. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and spread it out.
  10. Drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with chopped peanuts if desired.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  12. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of espresso powder to the brownie batter.
  • You can substitute the Snickers bars with your favorite candy bars like Reese’s or Milky Way for a different twist.
