Ingredients
Scale
1 pound bacon
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives (optional)
1/2 cup barbecue sauce (for drizzling)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the beef mixture into a tower, about 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide, on the prepared baking sheet.
Wrap the bacon strips around the beef tower, starting at the bottom and working your way up, overlapping the strips slightly. Use toothpicks to secure the bacon if needed.
In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and chives until well combined. Carefully spread the cheese mixture on top of the bacon-wrapped tower.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F).
Remove from the oven and drizzle barbecue sauce over the top. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a spicier version, add 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the beef mixture.
You can swap the ground beef for ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
For a smoky flavor, try using applewood-smoked bacon.
