Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 slices bacon, chopped
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Cook the bacon: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving about 1 tbsp bacon grease in the skillet.
Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes until softened. Add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
Make the creamy topping: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ½ cup cheddar cheese, and ¼ cup mozzarella until smooth.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
Spread the creamy mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
Top with the sautéed mushrooms, crispy bacon, remaining cheddar, and mozzarella.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F in the thickest part.
Let rest for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For an extra golden, bubbly cheese topping, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching carefully.
