Ingredients
Scale
450 g ground beef
150 g Italian sausage, casing removed
100 g bacon, chopped
100 g pepperoni, chopped
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
12 small flour or corn tortillas
180 g pizza or marinara sauce
200 g shredded mozzarella
80 g shredded cheddar
30 g grated Parmesan
½ tsp dried oregano
Optional Toppings: Sliced pepperoni, Chopped green onions, Fresh basil, Sliced black olives, Diced bell peppers, Red pepper flakes
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crisp. Transfer to a plate, leaving about 1 tablespoon of the bacon fat in the pan.
Add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking the meat apart as it cooks, until browned and cooked through.
Stir in the onion and cook for 2–3 minutes. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another minute.
Stir in the chopped pepperoni and cooked bacon. Cook for 2 minutes so the pepperoni becomes slightly crisp and flavors the meat mixture. Remove from the heat.
Warm the tortillas briefly so they become flexible. For crispier tacos, lightly brush both sides with oil.
Spoon about 2 tablespoons pizza sauce into each tortilla. Add the meat mixture, then top generously with mozzarella and cheddar.
Arrange the tacos upright or folded on a baking tray. Sprinkle with Parmesan and oregano. Bake at 200°C for 8–10 minutes, until the tortillas are crisp and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top with fresh basil, green onions, olives, or red pepper flakes. Serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes.
Feel free to customize toppings based on your preference.
These tacos can be made ahead and reheated in the oven.
