Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, optional
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, tucking the ends underneath.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, garlic, Dijon mustard, olive oil, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Place the bacon-wrapped chicken in the prepared baking dish and brush generously with the maple garlic sauce.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, basting with the sauce halfway through.
  6. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F and bake for another 5–10 minutes, until the bacon is crispy and the chicken reaches 165°F in the thickest part.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Spoon some of the flavorful pan juices over the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley.
  9. Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, rice, or a fresh green salad.
