Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, optional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
Prepare the chicken. If the breasts are very thick, gently pound them to an even thickness. Pat dry with paper towels.
Make the creamy topping. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Season the chicken. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and brush lightly with olive oil.
Add the topping. Spread the creamy Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, covering them generously.
Bake uncovered for about 25–30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken.
Brown the top. For a golden, slightly crisp topping, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching carefully so it doesn’t burn.
Check for doneness. The thickest part of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
Rest the chicken for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Ensure the chicken is pounded to an even thickness for even cooking.
Adjust the baking time based on the size of the chicken breasts.
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil and spices for a few hours before cooking.
