Ingredients
Scale
1 ½ lbs ground turkey
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup finely chopped jalapeños
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
4 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2 tbsp finely chopped jalapeños
4 brioche burger buns
4 slices cheddar cheese
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Sliced jalapeños
Mayonnaise or ranch dressing
Instructions
Make the filling: Mix cream cheese, Monterey Jack, and chopped jalapeños until well combined.
Prepare the turkey: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, cheddar, jalapeños, and Worcestershire sauce.
Form the patties: Divide the turkey mixture into 8 portions. Flatten each portion into a thin patty. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of 4 patties. Cover with the remaining patties and firmly seal the edges.
Cook: Heat a lightly oiled skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook the burgers for about 5–6 minutes per side, or until the center reaches 165°F.
Add cheese: During the final minute, place a cheddar slice on each burger and let it melt.
Toast the buns: Toast the brioche buns until lightly golden.
Assemble: Spread mayonnaise or ranch on the buns. Add lettuce, the jalapeño popper turkey burger, tomato, and extra jalapeños.
Serve: Serve immediately with fries, potato wedges, or a fresh salad.
Notes
Adjust the amount of jalapeños based on your spice preference.
