A delicious and unique grilled cheese sandwich featuring the sweet flavors of honey and peach combined with creamy white cheddar.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 2 ounces of white cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1 medium ripe peach, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the white cheddar cheese, peach slices, and drizzle honey over the peaches.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
  5. Place the sandwich in the heated skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the other side is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before slicing in half.
