Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp dried thyme
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)
Instructions
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and thyme.
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until golden brown. Transfer the pork chops to a plate.
Reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer.
In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Stir the slurry into the sauce and cook for 1–2 minutes, until thickened.
Return the pork chops to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the pork chops and simmer for 3–5 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and is coated in the sticky glaze.
Garnish with chopped parsley and sesame seeds, if desired.
Notes
Ensure the pork chops are at room temperature before cooking for even cooking.
Adjust the sweetness of the sauce by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
Serve with steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
