Ingredients
Scale
2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat on the stove.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Once the grill is hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
For a smoky flavor, add a few wood chips to the grill while cooking.
For a spicy kick, sprinkle some cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes into the marinade.
