- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 30 g unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 60 g unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 480 ml heavy cream
- 120 ml whole milk
- 150 g cream cheese, softened
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 100 g shredded mozzarella
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- Pinch of nutmeg, optional
- 150 g shredded mozzarella (for topping)
- 40 g grated Parmesan (for topping)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Pinch of paprika, optional (for garnish)
- Preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until 1–2 minutes less than al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Pat the shrimp dry, season with spices, and cook in a skillet with olive oil and butter until just cooked through. Add garlic and lemon juice.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic, then pour in heavy cream and milk. Whisk in cream cheese, cheeses, and seasonings, simmering until creamy.
- Combine cooked pasta with Alfredo sauce and gently fold in shrimp.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan, and sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, then broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden top.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving, garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan.
Notes
- Don’t overcook the shrimp as they will continue to cook in the oven.
- Ensure the Alfredo sauce does not boil vigorously to maintain creaminess.
- For a spicier kick, add more paprika to the shrimp seasoning.
