Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs are delicious, cheesy treats made with biscuit dough and mozzarella cheese, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 8 cubes
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each piece slightly.
  3. Place 1 cube of mozzarella in the center of each biscuit.
  4. Pull the dough up and around the cheese, then pinch the edges tightly to completely seal the cheese inside.
  5. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Mix melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Brush generously over each biscuit.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let them cool for 3–5 minutes before serving—the cheese inside will be extremely hot and gooey.
  10. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Ensure the cheese is completely sealed inside the biscuit to prevent leakage during baking.
  • Adjust the seasoning to taste if desired.
  • These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
