Delicious Garlic Butter Beef Cheeseburger Roll-Ups that combine savory beef filling with melted cheese, all wrapped in pizza dough and brushed with garlic butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 (13.8-ounce) tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, for rolling
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Extra shredded cheddar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking the beef apart as it browns. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow the beef mixture to cool for about 10 minutes. Stir in the shredded cheddar and chopped pickles, if using.
  4. Lightly flour your work surface. Roll the pizza dough into approximately a 10 × 15-inch rectangle. Spread the cheeseburger filling evenly over the dough, leaving about ½ inch around the edges.
  5. Starting from one of the long sides, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam closed. Using a sharp knife, cut into 12–16 slices, about 1 inch thick. Place the roll-ups cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  6. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, and fresh parsley. Mix well. Brush about half of the garlic butter generously over the tops of the roll-ups.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted. For extra browning, sprinkle with a little additional Parmesan during the final 3–5 minutes. Remove from the oven and immediately brush with the remaining garlic butter.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, consider adding some diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
  • These roll-ups can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup or ranch.
