Ingredients
Scale
450 g ground beef
115 g bacon, finely chopped
½ small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika
150 g shredded cheddar cheese
1 tube (about 400 g) refrigerated pizza dough
45 g unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
¼ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
Cook the bacon: Cook chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving about 1 tbsp of bacon fat in the skillet.
Cook the beef: Add onion and cook for 2–3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart, until browned. Stir in garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Prepare the dough: Heat oven to 190°C. Roll the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 30 × 40 cm.
Fill: Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the cooked bacon and cheddar over the top.
Roll: Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam closed.
Slice: Cut into 12 equal pieces and arrange cut-side up on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
Make garlic butter: Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
Bake: Brush the roll-ups generously with garlic butter. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until the dough is golden and the cheese is melted.
Finish: Brush with a little more garlic butter immediately after removing from the oven. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
