A luxurious and flavorful dish featuring lobster tails baked in a creamy garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails, about 170–225 g each
  • 60 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 30 g unsalted butter (for sauce)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • 180 ml heavy cream
  • 40 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp paprika (for sauce)
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning (for sauce)
  • ¼ tsp salt (for sauce)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut through the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, stopping at the tail. Gently pull the shell apart and lift the lobster meat slightly over the shell, keeping it attached at the tail end. Place the lobster tails in a baking dish.
  3. Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and parsley. Brush the mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  4. Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on the size of the lobster tails. The lobster is done when the meat is opaque and reaches about 63°C internally. For a beautiful golden-brown top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching closely.
  5. While the lobster cooks, melt 30 g butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and add the paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes. Stir in the Parmesan until melted and smooth. Add the lemon juice and parsley. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of cream.
  6. Pour some of the creamy garlic butter sauce onto a serving platter. Arrange the baked lobster tails on top and spoon more sauce generously over the lobster. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Ensure the lobster is fresh for the best flavor.
  • Adjust seasoning according to personal taste.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
