Ingredients
Scale
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 loaf French bread (about 16 inches long)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, crab meat, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Spread the crab and cheese mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley before slicing into pieces and serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a few dashes of hot sauce or some chopped jalapeños to the cheese mixture.
You can substitute the crab meat with cooked shrimp or lobster for a different seafood flavor.
