Ingredients
Scale
1 pound chicken tenders
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1/4 cup green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ranch seasoning mix, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well blended.
Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the cheese mixture.
Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Once the chicken is seared, spread any remaining cheese mixture over the top of the tenders. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the oven and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or your favorite hot sauce to the cheese mixture.
Substitute the chicken tenders with boneless, skinless chicken breasts, adjusting the cooking time as needed to ensure they are fully cooked.
