- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring frequently. Don’t let the garlic brown.
- Remove from the heat and whisk in the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir in the parsley, chives, smoked paprika, cayenne, red pepper flakes, oregano, black pepper, and salt.
- Let the sauce sit for 5 minutes so the flavors blend.
- Serve warm as a dipping sauce or spoon it directly over grilled steak, chicken, seafood, or roasted potatoes.
Notes
- For a thicker dipping sauce, refrigerate it for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally as it cools.
