Ingredients
Scale
2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
Add the salmon fillets and shrimp to the bowl, ensuring they are evenly coated with the marinade. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Arrange the salmon fillets in the center of a baking dish and place the shrimp around them. Lay lemon slices over the salmon and shrimp.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the salmon and shrimp for up to 30 minutes before baking.
You can also substitute the shrimp with scallops for a different seafood twist.
Serve with a side of rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
