A delicious BBQ Ranch Turkey Smash Burger that combines the flavors of BBQ sauce and ranch dressing with juicy turkey patties.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions and form them into balls.
  4. Place the turkey balls on the hot skillet and use a spatula to smash them down into patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Cook for 4-5 minutes until browned, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  5. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with shredded cheddar cheese and cover to melt.
  6. While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on a separate skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers by spreading BBQ sauce on the bottom bun, placing the turkey patty on top, and adding ranch dressing, shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
