Baked Salmon with Butter Garlic Sauce is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines the rich flavors of salmon with a savory butter garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice and parsley.
  6. Pour the butter garlic sauce evenly over the salmon fillets.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve the salmon with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle some paprika or cayenne pepper on the salmon before baking.
  • Substitute the salmon with other fish like trout or tilapia for a different taste.
