Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring tender chicken thighs coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs, skin-side down, and sear for about 5 minutes until the skin is golden brown.
  4. Flip the chicken thighs over and pour the honey garlic sauce over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Serve the chicken thighs over steamed rice or quinoa to soak up the delicious sauce.
