Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1½ tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
½ cup sour cream
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or green onions
½ teaspoon dried dill (optional)
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly grease a 9 × 13-inch baking dish.
Pat the chicken breasts dry and pound them to an even thickness if necessary. Brush both sides with olive oil and season with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine the sour cream and ranch seasoning, mixing until smooth. Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the chicken and top with mozzarella and cheddar. Add Parmesan, dill, or red pepper flakes if desired.
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. For a golden cheese topping, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching closely.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with fresh parsley or green onions.
Notes
Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F for safety.
