Ingredients
Scale
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1–2 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped (adjust based on heat preference)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the Dijon mustard and honey. Whisk together until smooth and well blended.
Add the finely chopped jalapenos, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until evenly combined.
Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary, adding more honey for sweetness or more jalapenos for heat.
Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
For a creamier sauce, add 1/4 cup of mayonnaise or Greek yogurt.
Substitute the jalapenos with roasted red peppers for a milder flavor.
