A delicious and comforting cheesy chicken casserole that’s perfect for family dinners.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked rice, steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the casserole.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, substitute brown rice for white rice and use low-fat cheese.
