  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and stir until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour in the milk and melted butter, mixing until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour as needed.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute.
  6. Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Cut the dough into strips, about 1 inch wide.
  8. Twist each strip a few times and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Sprinkle the twisted breadsticks with grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
