Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, green onions, egg, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
While the meatballs are baking, in a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, and honey. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is warm and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the teriyaki sauce over them, or toss them in the sauce to coat evenly.
Garnish with sesame seeds and additional chopped green onions if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
Add diced bell peppers or carrots to the meatball mixture for extra flavor and nutrition.
